Friends of The Wishing Jar

I work with many other fantastic companies and people, from suppliers to other crafters and small business owners, and always try to support my local small businesses wherever possible.  Below are some of the companies and people I am proud to work with, am inspired by and support.

The Keepsake Association

I am very proud to be part of The Keepsake Association, a group of like-minded business owners (45 or so) who all support and encourage each other to succeed in business and life!  The founder, Victoria Casebourne, set up The Keepsake Co 16 years ago as the first keepsake business in the UK.  She struggled to find suppliers and had to source materials from the US, which turned into a business itself, and has transformed into The Keepsake Association as it is today, providing training and business support for others to start their very own keepsake business.

If you are interested in setting up your own business check out Victoria’s free 2-week challenge to find out if it’s right for you! Click here for more info.

Lemon Drop Ceremonies

Hello there, my name is Shona and I am a family celebrant. I would love to work with you to help make your special day wonderful; something lovely to look back on in years to come and make you smile at the happy memory. I truly believe that love is sunshine for the soul and to love and be loved is one of the most beautiful of human experiences. Love is diverse and there are no limits to the number of different ways people can choose to express and celebrate their love for one another. I think the perfect ceremony is about what is right for you, whether it is a wedding in the woods, a naming ceremony on the beach or something more traditional. Making your ceremony personal, heartfelt and unique to you is my priority.

I live in Gosforth, in Newcastle, with my husband, our dinosaur-obsessed little boy and our baby daughter. Making people happy makes me happy. So if you are looking for a celebrant to write a ceremony just for you, to assist with your event management if you need it, and officiate for you with joy and care then get in touch. Let’s make a little bit of magic.

As a celebrant, I hope that I put your heart into words. I hope that I can pour all your love and hopes and dreams into your ceremony to make your day special. Because it is your ceremony; nobody else will ever have the same as you. I don’t work from a script or alter a template. We work together to craft you something beautiful and meaningful to you that you can treasure forever.

Why am I a celebrant? I do it because I love it. I love to see people happy and what is more joyous than helping you celebrate the best days of your lives.

Sharing is caring!
